What the price pays for: Google and Microsoft change their systems every few months, and the app has to keep working through it. It also pays for the Cleaner and Projects work described on the features pages, which land inside the same price — you will not be asked for more money for them. The offer end date is fixed on the day the app goes on sale; after that day the price returns to $100 a year.

What happens if I stop paying?
Your account drops back to the free, look-only tier. Nothing is locked away and nothing is deleted. You keep seeing your one connected cloud account and your own drives; you just lose the ability to delete or move files, and the Cleaner and Projects, until you pay again.
How many computers can I use it on?
This is still being decided for owner. The working number under discussion is three computers per paid subscription, so a Mac at home and a Windows laptop at work could both run it — but that number is not final yet.
Are there paid tiers, or hidden add-ons?
No. It is one plan. Every feature on this site is included in the one price, both what is built today and what is still being added — you are never asked to pay more to unlock a part of the app you already have.
If I paid at the launch offer, will my price ever go up?
Whether early subscribers keep their launch price for as long as they stay subscribed (“grandfathering”) is still being decided for owner. This page will be updated with the final answer before the app goes on sale.
Do you ever see my files, to answer a support question?
No. Nothing about your files reaches us — there is no server on our side that your files pass through. If you ever need help, you would be describing what you see on your own screen, the same way you would to a friend.
Can I get a refund?
The refund policy has not been published yet for owner. It will appear here, and in the terms, before the app goes on sale.
